On the morning of May 25, initiated by the PHNIX’s founder, Andrew Zong, the ceremony for Tesla’s "To the South" tour trial test drive was held at 798 park, Chaoyang District. Andrew and the founder of "Logic Thinking" Mr. Luo planted the first charging pile for electric vehicles on the north to south charging road together.
The ceremony included activities such as Tesla charging pile founding, entrepreneurship sharing as well as the public opening test drive experience. It' s said that, driving the electric vehicle BYD, starting from Guangzhou, Mr. Andrew drove all the way up to north along the high speed road of Beijing--Hong Kong--Macao. After picking up the car at Tesla's China headquarter, he will drive the Model S from Beijing to Guangzhou. With no charging facilities all the way in China, he want to complete the crossing from the north to the south. Moreover, he determined to pioneer the first approach of electric car charging from the north to the south of China.

At the ceremony in the afternoon, reporters saw six Tesla Model S provided to the public for test drive. Local owners offered these vehicles generously after encouraged by Mr. Andrew. While the 30 guests who have the chance to take a test drive were selected from "Logic Thinking" fans group. On this ceremony in Beijing, Mr. Andrew shared his car purchasing experience with the car fans. As a car amateur, Andrew becomes one of Tesla fans for its humanized and intelligent interactive user experience as well as its innovative business mode.
In regarding to the charging problem during his return trip to Guangzhou, Mr. Andrew told the local media that he had purchased a batch of special chargers for Tesla, for which 15A standard electric outlets would be installed to the special electrical boxes. The modified charging facilities would be able to charge other electric vehicles such as BYD Qin. Mr. Andrew promises that on his return trip, he would donate all the charging piles for free. His Tesla Model S would cross many cities such as Qingdao, Wuhan, Shanghai and so on. Mr. Andrew also promises that, he would install one charging pile in his enterprise’s name for the enthusiastic fans whoever are willing to and promise to provide other vehicles owners with charging places for free charging.
Known as "China’s First Tesla Fan", Mr. Andrew has recently ordered 20 more Tesla Model X from Tesla China Officials for rewarding his outstanding employees. In addition, he installed 60 charging piles in his new industrial park and ruled that every staff who buys electric vehicles can enjoy life-long free charging as well as their internal company energy-saving subsidies.
Mr. Andrew said in an interview that his donation of charging piles at approximately every 300 km would definitely encourage more and more people to be keen on China's energy-saving actions. He believed that a nationwide electric car charging facility network will be built up very soon and the revolution of electric vehicles will be the biggest public welfare establishment in the future.
